everyone

Ello Tasties,

Yesterday was my Birthday...

I spent it with my Cousin, as it was his last day here. He will be gone for thirteen months for military duties... I miss him already.

A year or so ago, around this time we bought a nice 12year scotch, Mucullen if memory serves. My cousin having the small desire to be a write, me having the naive desire, that continues, to create worlds of my own. We would talk for hours, pretending to be classy on the red velvet sofa. A smoke filled room slowly seeping into the early morning sky. I was in a black sport jacket when he “accidentally” stubbed me with the smoldering end of his cigarette because he was giggling like a school girl over something I said.

Rude bastard. Oh, we did battle. In a nonviolent joyous way. I mean… Does chasing him around with a belt constitute violence?

I don't think so,

Zombie Penguin and other YLD toys

You Look Delicious Toys are for Everyone!

I mean, think about how much more exciting everything will be having an inanimate object which would like nothing more then to eat you!

If you’re a pacifist you can feel as though you've done a little more to keep the peace by personally keeping something so viscous, cuddly, and adorable from causing mass chaos and panic.

If you’re a sadist your torturous personality is getting a little chuckle from being so close to something that wants to eat you but can’t

If you’re a masochist then you’re inviting soft and painful tragedy into your life.

If you’re paranoid and you’re afraid that you’re wrong about everyone and everything being out to get you can take comfort in knowing this toy is out to get you.

If you’re a megalomaniac and wish to bring the world to its knees, it will never happen and at least you will have something that you can turn to for a cuddle in inevitable event of your failure.

Ravenously yours,
MR. 'C' MiKzie

I was at the Wyandotte street art fair and something occurred to me. A complicated concept Which hasn't ever chewed on my brain before; my stuffed animals seem, to me, like Art training wheels.
Anyone can pick it up and hold it. They can decorate a space with it. It's unique they will love to show their friends and share the experience.
What is art? Possibly The opportunity share a taste of unique? Ready to Order an art appetizer?
Tell them a story, give it a name!
Youlookdelicious.etsy.com

Support flavor and give young people a taste for the unique
Show them how to take care of something someone spent time and love creating.

Art is how you treat what others do for you.
Be appreciative that someone wants to be apart of your life and give you a chance to sink you teeth into what brings them joy!

Ravenously yours,
Christian MiKzie

Wyandotte street art fair 2011

Ello Tasties,

I know you enjoyed my ahmnahm nahm... toys. As well you should, I know i do. That is the only reason for me making them.

The Wyandotte street art fair.
day one.
Honestly it all begins the night before when I assemble my troops. Not the zombie penguins or anything of that nature. They are crazy warriors of wrath seeking vengeance, in fact I fear to sleep under the same roof. When they escape my bladder trickling noise occure as they the battle the might force of the PeePeechair's water grip.
A great feeling of relief sweeps over my entire body, and then, I rest in peace. Knowing that "The Great Flush" of prophecy will take place.

Summery
Wake. Snooze. Actually wake. Stack. Gather. Load. Fit. Break... Imagine playing live action Tetris.

This morning was different slightly. I could feel. Normally I'm relatively numb. smelly little nerve eaters... Truthfully I showered. I do that regularly, I simply cherish each individual droplet of water.

I'll spare you the intimate details. I know..I know.. you want those dirty deets. Only participants are allowed those.

The day at the Wyandotte Street art Festival was Fluffy.  Lovely things, I witnessed, in the small amount of time I was able wander.
I did buy one thing an Amazing alpaca teddy. I can not tell you his name. He must be introduced later.
I highly recommend it.

Today was delicious. I'd put it in my mouth.

I'd like to thank the detroit news for finding me amusing enough to print.

add me to your face book. Christian McKzie.

This is not working, and Grosse Ile

Here is the deal: feed yourselves to my Toys.

In return, I will attempt to make it to this horrifying-technological-monstrosity and update. -,..,-

I would inform you of my next uprising against humanity, AKA street festival, but I am quite
oblivious to my own schedule.

Man Eating Arctic unicorns are available online and at Vault of Midnight

Here is the scoop of ice cream that is trying to eat you:
I was at the Grosse Ile Island Festival, and was amused.
Though the festival was small in comparison to others, I Always appreciate the opportunity to let people sample my "art" (and allow my "art" to sample them...ahm-nahm-nahm YOU LOOK DELICIOUS).
Here are a couple of pictures that I took. Thanks for being good sports to my random compulsions. I hope I smeared my true colors and merely appear to you as very weird and overly polite.

Greetings! Salutations! Bon A'petit!

That said, I would like to thank everyone who came out to the East Lansing event, I'm glad that my prints were so eagerly recieved ^,..,^ Despite how easy it was to get lost, and the man who insisted that my car spot was his trailer spot (it wasn't, later it was found that he had a spot being saved for him a couple rows down from where i had parked) i was glad to be there and see not only my supporters buT also the other awesome vendors.

I have another show June 4-5. it's the Grossiel Island Fest, and as my penguins are breeding for that event, I've discovered a new creature residing in my home. It seems to be breeding along with the zombie penguins--not with the penguins but just along the same time line--it is a shy, quick one, but I shall continue my hunt and prevail and all you little meat snacks will be made aware of my success for there will be photos!

Oh! Oh! I also have a facebook page, a deviant art, and an etsy now! I have the etsy attached to the  blog at the top, my facebook is under yld-toys, and my art page is Cmikzie.deviantart.com you should all be my friends and stalk me a friendy-stalky-non-creeper way ^.^

The Return of the Thing

Hello my little meat-snacks young, old, and of all flavors! Letting you know that I have yet to be honored with the grand journey of digestion and am still very much alive, un-eaten, and involved with he un-dead. I apologize profusely to you--my delicious fans-- for my negligence and beg for your forgiveness...

OK, that last was a bit of an exaggeration. Except for the "sorry" part.

Currently, Zombie Penguins are still be sold at Vault of Midnight in Ann Arbor, and I am working on something that branches slightly out of the penguin realm ( fear not, for it is fluffy! And will still want to eat you). There is also the preparing for the Spring Arts and Crafts Show at Michigan State University scheduled for 5/21 - 5/22
from 9am- 6pm Saturday and 10 am- 5pm Sunday. I'm booth 316 ( hint hint: come visit me ^,..,^).

I apologize for the graphic nature of the photo...but putting the undead together in massive quantities is messy business. I thought that you all would enjoy seeing some of the process
none the less =^_^=

I seem to be apologizing a lot today...I suppose that's your consolation prize for me being AWOL for so long...

To those of you who have e-mailed asking for Zombie Penguins and haven't made it to vault of midnight, the show at MSU is your chance not only to obtain your own adorable, hungry, dead-toy, but to also meet the amazing me while I am still alive. For I too, like so many, may one day succumb to my creations cuteness and allow them a nibble...and you know what they say about mice and cookies? Same is true for Zombie Penguins and fresh-flesh.

But I suppose that is only to be expected.
